The Dark Knight Rises 

An upcoming superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan and written by him and his brother Jonathan Nolan. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film will be the third installment in Nolan’s Batman film series, and is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). The Dark Knight Rises is intended to be the conclusion of the series. It stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman. The film will take place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight and will introduce the characters of Selina Kyle and Bane—portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy, respectively—two villains from the Batman mythology

The Wrath Of Titans

Talk of a sequel to Clash of the Titans began as early as March 2010. Tamer Hassan, who played Ares in the first film, stated at the film’s world premiere that, “They want this one to do well so they can go ahead with the sequel, Return of the Gods“. In April 2010 it was reported that director Louis Leterrier will not return to direct, but will be an executive producer on the second installment. The report also stated that Sam Worthington is on-board and that Greg Berlanti will write the story.

The Hobbit (An Unexpected Journey)

an upcoming two-part epic fantasy film directed by Peter Jackson. It is a film adaptation of the 1937 novel of the same name by J. R. R. Tolkien and a prequel to The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Jackson, director of The Lord of the Rings, returns as director of the film and also serves as producer and co-writer.

The film will star Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshieldand Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug.Several actors from The Lord of the Rings will reprise their roles, including Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee, Ian Holm, Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom. Also returning for the production are a big part of the production crew; among others, illustrators John Howe and Alan Lee, art director Dan Hennah and cinematographer Andrew Lesnie. As with the trilogy, props will generally be crafted by Weta Workshop and visual effects managed by Weta Digital. Additionally, composerHoward Shore, who wrote the score for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, has confirmed his role in both parts of the film project.

Men In Black 3

Men in Black 3 (stylized MIB³, and formerly known as Men in Black III-D) is an upcoming3D science fiction comedy film starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. It will be released as the sequel to Men in Black II on May 25, 2012, ten years after its predecessor. It will also star Josh Brolin and Jemaine Clement, with Barry Sonnenfeld returning as director, and Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer. The film is the third entry in the Men in Black film series which is based on the Malibu comic book series The Men in Black by Lowell Cunningham. Principal photography began in New York City on November 16, 2010.

Ghost Rider (Spirit Of The Vengeance) 

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is an upcoming 3D superhero film based on the Marvel Comics antihero Ghost Rider. It is a sequel to the 2007 film Ghost Rider and features Nicolas Cage returning to the starring role as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider.^[3][4] It is also the second film to be released under the Marvel Knights banner after 2008′s Punisher: War Zone. The film was directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, from a screenplay written by David S. Goyer,Scott Gimple and Seth Hoffman. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 17, 2012.

The Avengers

The Avengers is an upcoming American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures¹, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the sixth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which crosses over several Marvel superhero films including Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2(2010), Thor (2011) and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). The film is written and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast, which includes Robert Downey, Jr.,Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson. In The Avengers, Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organizationS.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to save the world from destruction.

Underworld Awakening

Six months after the events of Underworld: Evolution, vampire Selene is captured by humans during “The Purge”, a mass extermination of vampires and lycans after mankind learnt of their existence. Twelve years later, Selene is freed from cryogenic suspension and escapes the medical corporation Antigen, who are trying to make an apparent antidote to the virus that creates vampires and lycans. Selene follows the visions of who she believes to be her lover, the vampire-lycan hybrid Michael Corvin into a building, only to discover a young girl named Eve, revealed to be a hybrid and Selene’s daughter. Attacked by lycans, Selene and Eve are helped by fellow vampire David, who takes them to his coven.
